c. Councilor De Forest congratulated the recipients of the CVMIC award. <br /> d. President Leavy also said that he enjoyed the Prayer Breakfast and that it was nice to see a joint <br /> effort from students in both Janesville and Beloit. <br /> 11. CITY MANAGER'S PRESENTATION — none <br /> 12. REPORTS FROM BOARDS AND CITY OFFICERS <br /> a. Mr. Arft presented a resolution approving the Agreement between the City of Beloit and the <br /> American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees Local #643 Transit. Mr. Arft <br /> indicated that this is a new bargaining unit that was created in response to Act 10 in order to keep <br /> the City's federal funding for a public transit system. He indicated that the union membership <br /> would pay a share of the retirement contribution and would receive a 2.5 percent wage increase <br /> in 2013 at the end of the contract. Councilor Newnham moved to adopt the resolution, and <br /> Councilor Spreitzer seconded. The motion carried 7 -0. File 6094 <br /> 13. At 8:10 p.m. Councilor De Forest moved to adjourn the meeting, and Councilor Spreitzer seconded. <br /> The motion carried 7 -0. <br /> I/4 <br /> Rebecc S.
