Councilor Van De <br /> Bogart thanked everyone who participated in the budget process and commented that <br /> apportioning the budget cuts throughout the City's departments was the best method because all <br /> services and departments impact residents' quality of life. Councilor Spreitzer said that the budget <br /> is not ideal but everyone worked together to make sure it was balanced, and everyone will feel <br /> the effects. Council President Leavy said that everything that impacts residents will also impact <br /> the Council. He thanked the City's employees, the citizens, and the Councilors for their work on <br /> this budget. President Leavy called for a roll call vote. Councilors De Forest, Haynes, Van De <br /> Bogart, Leavy, Luebke, and Spreitzer voted to approve the resolution, and Councilor Newnham <br /> voted in opposition. The motion carried 6 -1. File 8514 <br /> 12. At 9:42 p.m. Councilor Haynes moved to adjourn the meeting, and Councilor Spreitzer seconded. The <br /> motion carried 7 -0. <br /> Ov <br /> Reb ca S.
